Anthony Lamb Career
Anthony started his basketball career at Greece Athena High School, where he was trained by coach Jim Johnson. Lamb was a star player in his team, he averaged 20 points with 13 rebounds per game. Lamb single-handedly led his team to the number-one ranking in New York. He was twice named the Greater Rochester Player of the Year.
With lots of expectations, Lamb joined Vermont to continue his college basketball career. In his debut match, he scored 23 points with nine rebounds against Quinnipiac. Lamb averaged 11.9 points with 5.2 rebounds per game in his junior season. A foot injury ruined half of his sophomore season. But scored a massive 42 points against St. Bonaventure. His junior season was a season to remember throughout his life. He was queued with rewards.
Lamb was undrafted in the 2020 NBA draft and later signed a contract with the Detroit Pistons. After participating in just one game in the pre-season, Lamb was axed by the Pistons. He also signed contracts with the Canton Charge and the Rio Grande Valley Vipers in the NBA G League division one after the other.
Lamb signed a two-way contract with the Houston Rockets. His NBA debut finally came under the Houston Rockets, he scored three points with one rebound in the game. After the Rockets waived Lamb, he returned back to the Rio Grande Valley. The big man averaged 15.0 points with 5.6 rebounds and 2.9 assists per game. At the end of the season, Lamb was a free agent.
In the 2022 NBA Summer League, Lamb joined back with the Rockets. As of now, Lamb signed a two-way contract with the Golden State Warriors. It going well for Lamb with the Rockets and he is performing well.
