It is time for the next big update for Respawn’s Battle Royale game. Here is everything we know so far about the Apex Legends Season 11.
The next and final update of 2021 will be Season 11, and it’ll be a massive one. In Season 11, a fourth battlefield will join the rotation after the launch of Olympus at the end of 2020. That’s not all; Titanfall’s Ash and the C.A.R SMG weapon, as well as a slew of other balance tweaks and a reworked ranking system, are also on the way. Here is what we have learned from the Apex Legends Season 11 leaks.
Apex Legends Season 11 Release Date
The release date for Apex Legends Season 11 has been set for Tuesday, November 2nd, 2021. So those of us who have been excitedly anticipating this new season of content don’t have much longer to wait. Respawn has yet to confirm the Apex Legends Season 11 launch time, but based on prior releases, we can make a logical assumption. It is a safe bet that Apex Legends Season 11 will launch at 6 pm GMT on 2nd November 2021.
This also means you have until November 1st to wrap up your Emergence Battle Pass and grind for those Volt skins.
New Legend: Ash and her abilities
After being “killed” by Jack Cooper in Titanfall 2, her Simulacrum body has been reassembled in order to compete in the Apex Games. She has the most broken passive ability, that shows the location of the death boxes that are nearby, and interacting with the aforementioned death box will mark the survivors on the map.
The tactical ability appears as an arc star, spinning and stunning nearby players, slowing them down and doing 10 damage. Players can use Ash’s ultimate ability to create a one-way portal for the team in the direction they are looking. This may be highly beneficial in scenarios where the entire building is engulfed in traps and enemies, and the team wants to flee.
Apex Legends Season 11 fourth map
In Season 11, a new battlefield will join the rotation, one year after Olympus was added to the Apex Legends map pool. According to the leaks, it looks like the players will travel to the tropical areas of the world to fight players there. The location of this tropical region is still a mystery. The official website has this to say about the new map,
“Storm Point looks enticing, but the pristine beaches and crystal waters are just the eye of the hurricane. Teeming with wild Prowlers and a new kind of enemy swarm, venomous spiders, the gathering storms only add to the tension in the air. Legends have arrived and will find new ways to travel across the map’s diverse POIs which include island clusters, jungle compounds and a base embedded within a giant mountain marking the highest location in any Apex Legends map to date.”
C.A.R. SMG
In Apex Legends, this weapon can fire two types of ammo: light and heavy. This can be highly beneficial for teams that are having trouble successfully managing their resources. This makes it incredibly versatile because it can operate both small and heavy gun attachments. It’s a popular weapon from Titanfall, making it a great addition alongside Ash.
Although Respawn has confirmed the ranked rework coming to Apex Legends, the specifics are still under wraps. We will know more about the changes in the ranked system and the balance changes for the characters when the patch notes are released. That’s all folks! We’ll update you as soon as we know more about the upcoming Season 11 of Apex Legends. Till then check out the Best Weapons from Apex Legends.
