There has been a lot of hype for Apex Legends’ twelfth season, which is coming soon. Mad Maggie, the new Legend being added to the game, was originally teased in a launch trailer for Season 12. Apex Legends seasons usually span almost exactly three months, meaning Apex Season 12 will begin on February 8, 2022. Now that the date has been confirmed, there is only one week left to wait.
Apex Legends Season 12 Defiance – Control
The new Apex Legends game mode is called Control, and it’s a limited-time feature, according to the trailer. Two teams of nine players compete against each other in Control to capture various areas and get points for their team. Control pits two teams against each other for control of three important spots on the map. Capture the points, get points, and defeat your opponents while doing so. Slain players can respawn in the mode to get back into battle immediately.
Apex Legends Season 12 Defiance – Mad Maggie
Mad Maggie, a warlord who was tried and sentenced to death in the Apex Games, is introduced in the trailer. The trailer doesn’t go into detail regarding Mad Maggie’s abilities or weapons, but it does show her in action while detailing her past prior to the new season. Her recent in-universe actions are crucial to the new game map Sabotaged Olympus, which is the outcome of Mad Maggie’s recent surprise attack, which caused artifacts and buildings to teleport around the city.
Apex Legends Battle Pass and 3 Year Anniversary Rewards
The trailer also highlights Apex Legends’ “Three-year Anniversary,” which will include three weeks of incentives, as well as the new Battle Pass for Season 12. “Get Octane” with three themed packs is available from February 8 to February 15. “Get Wattson” with 3 Thematic Packs is available from February 15 to February 22, while “Get Valkyrie” with 3 Thematic Packs and 1 Legendary Pack is available from February 22 to March 1.
