According to a report from Calciomercato24, AC Milan could sell star winger Suso in the summer transfer window.
The future of Suso at AC Milan has been uncertain for some time now, with the Spaniard scoring his first goal against Bologna after a span of nearly four months. He seems to be getting back his mojo and provided an assist last weekend in the 1-0 victory over Fiorentina.
However, Milan could cash in on the 24-year-old rather extending his contract. That being said, Arsenal must reignite their interest in Suso and sign him this summer.
The Gunners have scouted Suso this year during AC Milan’s game against Chievo. It certainly seems like Arsenal have a strong interest in the nippy winger, who has shone immensely since moving to the San Siro.
Unai Emery has missed out a top-four finish in the Premier League, but his team have a chance to qualify for Champions League by winning the Europa League. The Spanish tactician stepped into one of the biggest shoes in world football when he replaced Arsene Wenger at the Emirates Stadium last summer.
He has helped the Gunners progress despite operating on a shoestring budget and there is every reason for the fans to be optimistic about their team next term.
We all know the danger Arsenal’s front two possesses, and that coupled with Mesut Ozil and Henrikh Mkhitaryan’s creativity and raw pace of Alex Iwobi make Emery’s team so potent going forward.
However, they do not have an out-and-out winger in their ranks. Thus, going into next season, Emery must not take any risk and bring in a winger, who’ll add quality to the team.
For that reason, Suso could be a brilliant signing for Arsenal. The Spaniard is a right winger by trade, noted for his technique, pace, dribbling and shooting abilities.
He boasts of tremendous control on the ball and is even a threat when running into spaces from the wide areas of the pitch. His movement in and around the final third always tend to keep the defenders on their toes.

Plus, the diminutive Suso is a composed finisher in front of goal and is an expert set-piece taker. His signing will make sense for Unai Emery’s side right now, with the likes of Ozil, Mkhitaryan and Alex Iwobi all have had unconvincing seasons.
The 24-year-old would surely be a big upgrade if he could continue to improve at this rate, despite having flopped in the Premier League earlier in his career at Liverpool.
For Arsenal to compete for the Premier League title next season, they’ll need to have a really quality squad. And signing Suso could be a huge step in that direction.
