Great Britain’s Cameron Norrie will take on Jenson Brooksby in the first semi-final of the ASB Classic
Jenson Brooksby is an emerging star on the ATP circuit, currently ranked World no.37 in men’s singles. The 22-year-old is coming into this tournament on a positive note after a successful 2022 season. 2022 was a breakthrough year for Brooksby which saw him reach two ATP finals and break into the top 35 of the men’s rankings.
Brooksby has had a commendable run so far at the ASB Classic. He started his campaign with a thrilling three-set win over Fabio Fognini and then received a walkover from 3rd seed Diego Schwartzman in the second round. In the quarterfinals, Brooksby defeated Quentin Halys to set up a clash against Norrie in the semis.
