Aslan Kazbekovich Karatsev aka. Aslan Karatsev started playing tennis when he was young. In 2011, Karatsev finally turned pro and he has now entered the list of richest tennis players in the history.
Subsequently, Karatsev played his first junior match in September 2007 at the age of 14 at a grade 5 tournament in Russia. Although this was his junior debut, Karatsev didn’t play consistently in junior tennis until 2009. From May 2009, Karatsev started to consistently play junior tennis.

Next, in the 2021 Dubai Tennis Championships, Karatsev reached his first ATP 500 singles final. In the final, he defeated Lloyd Harris to win his first title. The win allowed Karatsev to break into the top 30 for the first time in his career.
Also, at the Tokyo Olympics, he won the silver medal in mixed doubles with Elena Vesnina losing to compatriots Andrey Rublev and Anastasia Pavlyuchenkova in the final.
At the 2021 Kremlin Cup in Moscow, Karatsev reached the finals. In the finals, Karatsev defeated Marin Čilić to win his second career title.
