Asuka, real name Kanako Urai, is one of the best female talents ever to have graced WWE.
The Japanese star has only spent around five years performing in America but has become one of the greatest WWE stars.
The 39-year-old is a WWE Women’s Triple Crown Champion and has won everything there is to win when it comes to professional wrestling.
While she has produced videos as a gravure model, Asuka’s wrestling has done most of the talking. She formed a brilliant tag team with Kairi Sane too, The Kabuki Warriors. However, the Pirate Princess recently returned to Japan.
Asuka also has other business all across the world. While she has started her own YouTube channel called KanaChan.
The Japanese star also has her own Twitch stream and regularly features on other gaming channels hosted by WWE stars too.

The Japanese star didn’t start off wanting to be a wrestler as she was a graphic designer and worked on Nintendo DS games and also wrote for game magazines. Asuka also played badminton and graduated from the Osaka University of Arts Junior College.
She was originally known as Kana and started working in the Japanese circuit in 2004. She retired from the AtoZ promotion in 2006 but was back a year or so later.
The 39-year-old performed on several brands in Japan and won countless titles before signing a deal with WWE in 2015.
Asuka became the first wrestler to sign a deal with WWE in over 20 years after she joined in 2015.
She spent a couple of years on the NXT roster and won the title. She even held the NXT title for 510 days, which is a record for that belt.
Asuka was then moved to the main roster and WWE built her up as having an undefeated streak crossing 900+ days.
The Japanese star has won the Raw Women’s title, SmackDown Women’s title, Women’s Royal Rumble, WWE Women’s Tag Team title and the Money in the Bank all in the span of three years.
Asuka also formed a tag team with fellow Japanese star Sane and won the tag titles, but that was split up after Sane left for Japan.
She is only the third WWE Women’s Triple Crown champion with Alexa Bliss and Bayley being the other two.
Not much has been shared about Asuka and her family. There are very few details regarding her parents, husband or personal life.
However, Becky Lynch spoke after she gave up the title to the Empress of Tomorrow and confirmed that Asuka is a working mother and was all praise for the Japanese star.
