The third-seeded team of Gabriela Dabrowski and Giuliana Olmos won both their matches in three sets after going down in the first set.
In the first round, Dabrowski and Olmos edged past the team of Shelby Rogers and Irina-Camelia Begu 4-6, 6-2, 6-2. They followed it up with another come-from-behind win against the Swiss duo of Belinda Bencic and Jil Teichmann in the second round. This match ended 4-6, 6-2, 6-4 as Olmos and Dabrowski converted 6 out of 7 break points. They will hope to perform better in the first set against the confident pairing of Dolehide and Kalinskaya.
