The top seed has been her usual dominating self at the Australian Open so far. She has not lost a set as yet and looked in cruise control during her matches.

In the first round, Swiatek defeated a game Jule Niemeier in two competitive sets 6-4, 7-5. The Polish superstar followed it up with a thumping win against Camila Osorio in the second round in straight sets 6-2, 6-3. Swiatek reached the fourth round with a professional annihilation of Cristina Bucsa in the third round. The match ended 6-0, 6-1 in favor of the 3-time Grand Slam champion.

The Kazakhstani No. 1 has made it to the fourth round at the Australian Open for the first time in her career. Rybakina has lost just one set in the three matches she has played so far.

Rybakina faced Elisabetta Cocciaretto in the first round of the Australian Open. After winning a tight first set, Rybakina dominated the second set and won the match 7-5, 6-3. In the second round, Rybakina produced another fine effort against Kaja Juvan. She had an exceptional win percentage of 88 on the first serve. In the third round, Rybakina edged past 13th seed Danielle Collins in three sets 6-2, 5-7, 6-2. This win must have given the youngster a lot of confidence and she should be raring to go against the overwhelming favorite – Swiatek.

Head-to-Head and Prediction

Iga Swiatek and Elena Rybakina have faced each other in only one match so far. The former picked up a win in straight sets at the 2021 Ostrava Open.

Prediction: Iga Swiatek to win in three sets.
