The Australian duo of Lizette Cabrera and John-Patrick Smith meet the Brazilian duo of Rafael Matos and Luisa Stefani in the quarterfinals of the 2023 Australian Open on Tuesday.

Cabrera and Smith got off to a solid start at the 2023 Australian Open as they defeated the team of Kimberley Zimmermann and Tim Putz in the first round. The Aussie duo had a staggering win percentage of 88 on the first serve.
In the second round, Smith and Cabrera came back from a set down to defeat the 8th-seeded team of Gabriela Dabrowski and Max Purcell 2-6, 7-5, 10-7. They didn’t serve as well in this match. Smith and Cabrera will have to come out all guns blazing in their quarterfinals.
Rafael Matos and Luisa Stefani
Matos and Stefani have looked quite comfortable and in sync, in the two matches, they have played so far in the competition. In the first round, Matos and Stefani outplayed the Chinese duo of Zhang Zhizhen and Han Xinyun. After winning the first set convincingly, Matos and Stefani bageled their opponents in the second set to complete a 6-2, 6-0 win.
The Brazilian duo went on to face the team of Bethanie Mattek-Sands and Mate Pavic in the second round. Matos and Stefani produced yet another solid performance to win the match in straight sets 6-4, 6-4. They had an impressive win percentage of 89 on the first serve.
Prediction: Rafael Matos and Luisa Stefani to win in three sets.
