The Australian duo have played some scintillating tennis and have annihilated their opponents en route to the semifinals. They have not lost a set so far in the competition and looked really comfortable during their matches.
Gadecki and Polmans began their campaign on a splendid note as they ousted the 4th-seeded team of Wesley Koolhof and Ena Shibahara with a dominant 6-2, 6-2 win. In the second round, they got the better of another Australian duo – Rinky Hijikata and Kimberly Birrell. The match ended 6-0, 6-2. Gadecki and Polmans faced two more Australian players – Maddison Inglis and Jason Kubler in the quarterfinals. The match ended 6-3, 6-2 in favor of the in-form Gadecki and Polmans.

The Brazilian duo has also been a force to reckon with. Like their next opponents, Stefani and Matos have not dropped a set as yet.
Stefani and Matos opened their campaign by blowing away the Chinese duo of Zhizhen Zhang and Xinyun Han 6-1, 6-0. In the second round, Matos and Stefani produced a solid display to defeat the team of Bethanie Mattek-Sands and Mate Pavic 6-4, 6-4. In the quarterfinals, Stefani and Matos dominated their way past Lizette Cabrera and John-Patrick Smith. They won the encounter 6-3, 6-4.
