Avenge the Drowned is a non-optional quest in the Lower City and this will be immediately after reaching the 3rd act. This quest has many objectives and the challenge begins after finding the Beast Master. The major objective is to investigate the murder of Holli that’s done by a Beast.
Allandra Grey, the NPC will guide you throughout this quest. Travel to the Lower City and reach the Water Queen House to kickstart the challenge. Pick your weapons and gear items. The quest is longer and you have to complete the objectives one by one. First, you have to reach the steel watch foundry. The quest starts once you interact with wavesingers. Holli’s corpse is found in the harbor by the fishers and it’s further revealed she is killed by a polluting beast. Accept the deal and head to the grey harbor to find the beast. Interact with the fishers and investigate the Flynn Cargo.
Start from the hidden basement of the cargo and here there will not be any clue. So, you have to find the beast inside the other side of the warehouse. Unlock the front door and get inside. Here, you have to slay small mobs and find the beast deep inside the Flymm cargo. There will be a challenge against Redhammer the Deviser. You can either kill the master or spare him. Based on your choices, there will be different outcomes in the endgame. It will also change your endings.
If you decide to leave the Redhammer, he will take you to the Iron Throne, an underwater prison. You can reach the location by submarine. The Iron Throne has trapped many Gondians. Defeat the Iron Throne and its enemies to rescue all hostages of Gondians.
In the end, you have to meet Allandra Grey and the waveservants. The NPC will demand to hand over Redhammer to them. This will complete the quest and you will unlock the “Wavemother’s Robe”. If you refuse to accept the deal and side with Redhammer, the quest will fail and the master will reward you gold worth 400. Farming gold is challenging in the final act, so you can side with the Master as well.
