Bayley threatens to end Carmella’s recent rise on SmackDown

Carmella has been on a mini-winning streak on SmackDown but got involved in a war of words with Bayley

WWE SmackDown Women’s Champion Bayley was not all too pleased with Carmella and her winning return to the brand.

The Princess of Staten Island has won two matches since returning to in-ring action and has looked good on SmackDown.

Mella had been busy with Corey Graves and the pair recorded several TV shows for WWE. However, it was great seeing her in action in recent weeks.

WWE tweeted that Carmella was picking up momentum after defeating Mandy Rose recently. The Princess had also beaten Sonya Deville a couple of weeks earlier, but that did not sit well with Bayley.

The champion claimed that she would end that rise pretty quickly.

Mella wasn’t going to take this lying down, and took a shot at Bayley’s reign as the SmackDown Champion too:

Bayley creates history

The champion recently created history with her second reign. Bayley has now held the SmackDown title for the longest time and overtook Becky Lynch’s record.

The champion beat Brooke twice in recent weeks while Banks and Evans have been going hammer and tongs at each other.

Bayley needs a top rival for her SmackDown title and it will be interesting to see what WWE has planned for her.

The former Huggable One has done a great job after turning heel, and with Banks by her side, she could keep that SmackDown title for a few more months.
