Gegard Mousasi and Austin Vanderford clashed in the main event of Bellator 275 at 3Arena in Dublin, Ireland.
The packed card lived up to the expectation and lived up to its hype. Mousasi’s dominant title defense by first-round TKO had the MMA community talking. Also present in the crowd supporting fellow Irish fighters and Straight Blast Gym peers was Conor Mcgregor.
Mousasi absolutely destroyed Austin by his standup attack and finished him on the ground by vicious ground and pound.
Gegard Mousasi said during his post fight interview, “Well, I was taking my time, I wanted to hurt him. I never said I was the best middleweight, but now I’m going to say it, I’m the best middleweight.
Irish female fighters took the spotlight in the event, and Sinead Kavanagh stole the show by beating Leah McCourt via unanimous decision.
