Corey Anderson knocked Ryan Bader out in the very first round at Bellator 268
Corey Anderson has been enjoying life in Bellator. Just a year into the promotion, he finds himself a step away from glory.
Having made his debut in November 2020, Anderson quickly rose through the ranks and has now made it to the final of the Bellator Light Heavyweight World Grand Prix. He is currently 3-0 up in his Bellator career.
A stunning KO win over former UFC star, and current Bellator Heavyweight Champion Ryan Bader in the semi-final at the recently concluded Bellator 268 earned Anderson numerous accolades.
Just half a minute into the first round Anderson began applying the pressure, even as Bader wilted to it.
A big right hand followed by a fusillade of punches got the job done. He will now be taking on Vadim Nemkov in the Bellator Light Heavyweight World Grand Prix Final.
It is worth noting that Nemkov has never been defeated in his Bellator career and is the current Bellator Light Heavyweight World Champion.

Corey Anderson has turned his career around brilliantly. Just when he felt UFC wasn’t the place for him, he left the promotion and joined Bellator.
And now, he is on the cusp of greatness. The MMA community erupted following Anderson’s impressive win over Ryan Bader.
