Cris Cyborg lauds coach Khabib Nurmagomedov after Bellator 263

Khabib Nurmagomedov was by the corner of fellow Dagestanis Islam Mamedov and Usman Nurmagomedov, and Russian Gadzhi Rabadanov at Bellator 263

Khabib Nurmagomedov’s undefeated run as a coach continued as Dagestanis- Islam Mamedov and Usman Nurmagomedov, and Russian Gadzhi Rabadanov earned victories at Bellator 263.

Both Mamedov and Usman featured in the main card of Bellator 263 which was headlined by a featherweight title fight between AJ McKee and Patricio Pitbull. Gadzhi Rabadanov on the other hand took on Daniel Carey.

The powerful Rabadanov needed just one round to finish Carey with a flurry of strikes.

Mamedov took on former Bellator lightweight champion Brent Primus in a lightweight bout for three rounds. The Russian was on an impressive 18-fight win streak, and was making his promotional debut.

After three rounds, the match went to the judges’ scorecard. Two judges scored 29-28 in favour of Mamedov, and he thereby earned a split decision win.

Next, it was time for the undefeated Usman Nurmagomedov vs Manny Muro. Usman who was on a 12-fight winning streak made light work of Muro, earning a first-round TKO victory.

Cris Cyborg totally in awe of Khabib Nurmagomedov’s coaching abilities

Bellator women’s featherweight champion Cris Cyborg was in awe of Khabib Nurmagomedov’s coaching prowess.

As the ‘Eagle’ went 8-0 up in his coaching career, Cyborg took to Twitter tagging both Khabib and his manager Ali Abdelaziz mentioning how special the Dagestani man was.

Cyborg wrote:

“Watching @TeamKhabib coach his team is really something special! @AliAbdelaziz00.”
