Fedor Emelianenko was impressive in the main event of Bellator 269, against Timothy Johnson
Fedor Emelianenko faced Timothy Johnson in the main event of Bellator 269. The event took place at the VTB Arena in Moscow, Russia.
Fedor hadn’t fought since his win against Quinton ‘Rampage’ Jackson at Bellator 237, back in December 2019.
Headlining Bellator 269, the ‘GOAT’ as he is known, needed just 100 seconds to finish Johnson.
A big right hand from the Russian flattened Johnson. With that win, Fedor took his MMA record to 40 wins and just 6 losses.
The man is 45 now and is still going strong. There was a time during the late 2000s when he was considered near-immortal.
A fight between Fedor and then-UFC heavyweight champion Brock Lesnar nearly came to fruition, but the talks broke down eventually.
It is worth noting that Fedor was cheered on from the stands by UFC legend and fellow Russian Khabib Nurmagomedov.
The Eagle posed for a picture alongside Bellator CEO Scott Coker.
