Bennett is a 4-Star Pyro Sword user in Genshin Impact. He was an orphan who was discovered by an elderly adventurer from Monstadt. He was raised by the Monstadt Adventurer’s Guild and is the only member of ‘Benny’s Adventure Team.’ Everybody left his adventure team as he is plagued by constant misfortune. Bennett is a very versatile character who can be built as a support or a DPS. His most important ability is his Elemental Burst. Bennett’s Elemental Burst, Fantastic Voyage, heals you up to 70% HP, and gain an ATK bonus based on his base ATK. This ability increases the party’s ATK power to unleash all of their abilities while keeping the entire party healthy. You can pair him with another Pyro character to get Pyro resonance for your party. He works best when you have the first constellation unlocked.

Bennett Talents
Strike of Fortune (Normal Attack)
- Normal Attack – Perform up to 5 rapid strikes.
- Charged Attack – Consumes a certain amount of Stamina to unleash 2 rapid sword swings.
- Plunging Attack – Plunges from mid-air to strike the ground below, damaging enemies along the path and dealing AoE DMG upon impact.
Passion Overload (Elemental Skill)
Bennett puts all his fire and passion for adventuring into his sword. Results may very based on how fired up he is.
Press – A single, swift flame strike that deals Pyro DMG.
Hold – Charges up, resulting in different effects when unleashed based on the Charge Level.
- Level 1: Strikes twice, dealing Pyro DMG and launching enemies.
- Level 2: Unleashes 3 consecutive attacks that deal impressive Pyro DMG, but the last attack triggers an explosion that launches both Bennet and the enemy.
Bennett takes no damage from being launched.
Fantastic Voyage (Elemental Burst)
Bennett leaps towards the enemy and performs a plunging attack, dealing Pyro DMG, creating an Inspiration Field.
Inspiration Field –
- If the health of a character in the circle is equal to or falls below 70%, their health will continuously regenerate. Regeneration scales based on Bennett’s Max HP.
- If the health of a character in the circle is higher than 70%, they gain an ATK Bonus that is based on Bennett’s Base ATK.
- Applies the Pyro element to characters within the Field.

Base Attack: 46
Bonus Effect: Energy Recharge 12.0%
Skill Effect – CRIT Rate increased by 4%. Gains Skypiercing Might upon using an Elemental Burst: Increases Movement SPD by 10%, increases ATK SPD by 10%, and increases the DMG of Normal and Charged Attack hits by 20% for 12s.
2. Festering Desire
Base Attack: 42
Bonus Effect: Energy Recharge 10
Skill Effect – Increases Elemental Skill DMG by 16% and Elemental Skill CRIT Rate by 6%.
3. Sacrificial Sword
Base Attack: 41
Bonus Effect: Energy Recharge 13.3%
Skill Effect – After damaging an opponent with an Elemental Skill, the skill has a 40% chance to end its own CD. Can only occur once every 30s.
Bennett Best Artifacts Build
1. Noblesse Oblige
- Elemental Burst DMG +20%.
- Using an Elemental Burst increases all party members’ ATK by 20% for 12s. This effect cannot stack.
2. Crimson Witch of Flames
- Pyro DMG Bonus +15%.
- Increases Overloaded and Burning DMG by 40%. Increases Vaporize and Melt DMG by 15%. Using an Elemental Skill increases 2-Piece Set effects by 50% for 10s. Max 3 stacks.
3. The Exile
- Energy Recharge +20%
- Using an Elemental Burst regenerates 2 Energy for all party members (excluding the wearer) every 2s for 6s. This effect cannot stack.
Bennett Passive Talents
It Should Be Safe… (Unlocked Automatically)
When dispatched on an expedition in Mondstadt, time consumed is reduced by 25%
Rekindle (Unlocked at Ascension 1)
Decreases Passion Overload’s CD by 20%.
Fearnaught (Unlocked at Ascension 4)
When inside the area created by Fantastic Voyage, Passion Overload takes on the following effects:
- CD is reduced by 50%.
- Bennett will not be launched by the effects of Charge Level 2.
Bennett Constellations
1. Grand Expectation (Constellation level 1)
Fantastic Voyage’s ATK increases no longer has an HP restriction, and gains an additional 20% Base ATK.
2. Impasse Conquerer (Constellation level 2)
When Bennett’s HP falls below 70%, his Energy Recharge is increased by 30%.
3. Unstoppable Fervor (Constellation level 3)
- Increases the Level of Passion Overload by 3.
- Maximum upgrade level is 15.
4. Unexpected Odyssey (Constellation level 4)
Using a Normal Attack when executing the second attack of Passion Overload’s Charge Level 1 allows an additional attack to be performed. This additional attack does 135% of the second attack’s DMG.
5. True Explorer (Constellation level 5)
- Increase the Level of Fantastic Voyage by 3.
- Maximum upgrade level is 15.
6. Fire Venture with Me (Constellation level 6)
Sword, Claymore, or Polearm-wielding characters inside Fantastic Voyage’s radius gain a 15% Pyro DMG Bonus. Normal and Charged Attacks now do Pyro DMG.
Players should be aware that activating constellation 6 will will convert melee characters’ attacks into Pyro inside Bennett’s Burst. For Elemental or Physical characters like Ayaka or Eula, who rely on their own Element to deal DMG, this can be a disadvantage.
Bennett is an incredible support character that works well with almost all teams. Pair him up with a Hydro or Cryo character to cause constant reactions and increase damage.
