Here is our list of the Best Claymore Users in Genshin Impact. Find out the best DPS and Support characters that use the claymore in Genshin!
In Genshin Impact, the Claymore is by far the greatest weapon class. It has a significant area of effect, breaks shields faster, and staggers more easily. That’s more than other weapon types can offer. Claymore attacks have higher multipliers to compensate for their slowness. Claymore users were always in high demand for this reason.
However, not all Claymores users are at the same level, and the current roster includes several different kits and skills, making it tough for players to decide who to add to their party. The Claymores have a lot to offer, from the Monstadt Batman Diluc to high-speed healer, cute little Sayu, but some are more valuable than others. Here is our list of the Best Claymore users in Genshin Impact.
While her skill can be a little tough to master at first, the long duration allows players to become accustomed to it. It’s also incredibly versatile, with the ability to do Anemo/Swirl damage or Elemental Absorption (with her Hold Attack), as well as rapid dodging. Sayu can roll around avoiding attackers while healing your DPS till they’re ready as long as she can trigger Swirl reactions.
Xinyan is a Pyro claymore user with a music-based kit that provides physical damage and a shield. She’s a one-of-a-kind, character that, with her second Constellation, can deal a lot of damage in a short amount of time. She also increases her team’s physical damage, which makes her an excellent match for characters like Eula or Keqing.
Despite the fact that Noelle is capable of shielding, healing, and inflicting considerable damage, she is only average at all she does. Because Genshin Impact isn’t a particularly difficult game, jack-of-all-trades characters like Noelle don’t get much of a chance to shine. Additionally, she is only effective as a main DPS after C6, and even then, she requires solid artifact sets.
Beidou’s Burst is one of her most powerful abilities, as it deals off-field Electro damage that can cause some tremendous elemental reactions. This makes Beidou an ideal match for characters like Hu Tao, who, with the appropriate setup, can do significant elemental damage. While Stormbreaker requires a lot of energy for her Burst, pairing her with Fischl or Raiden can help her recharge while also allowing her to take advantage of Electro resonance.
Razor was one of the most sought-after four-star character when Genshin Impact was first released. His Claymore makes him helpful for overworld exploration in the early game. Razor’s finest feature is his Burst, which gives his slow Claymore swings a much-needed speed boost and adds a considerable amount of Eectro damage on top of his Physical damage. Razor also gives himself plenty of Energy Recharge bonuses, allowing him to charge his Burst on his own.
In Melt and/or Freeze reaction comps, Genshin’s Chongyun is best used as a Cryo Sub-DPS, where his strong Cryo application is fully maximized. His Skill turns Physical damage into Cryo and improves Attack speed, which can be effective for boosting the normal attacks of characters with strong Cryo damage multipliers. Chongyun’s Burst has a low cost, allowing players to use his powerful AOE attack on a regular basis. It also has a short delay before causing Cryo damage, allowing players to change characters and trigger a reaction.
Diluc’s strength is his consistency; he can disrupt enemy attacks to maintain his own momentum while also dishing out steady Pyro damage and Elemental Reactions with little effort. His Skill’s extraordinarily short cooldown means he practically never attacks without Pyro application if timed correctly. And, if a gap exists, his low-cost Burst not only deals enormous AOE Pyro damage but also sets his weapon on fire. Chaining Diluc’s Skill and Burst is a simple process that allows him to stay Pyro infused at all times, tearing through whatever the game throws at him.
Eula is a Physical DPS that is unmatched by any other character in Genshin Impact. She is well intended to be a completely offensive on-field character, with the second-highest Attack in the game, Crit DMG as her Ascension stat, built-in resistances, and a plethora of stackable buffs. Using her second Passive, Burst, reduces the cooldown of her Skill and grants her an instant Grimheart, allowing her to chain skills and buffs with ease. To top it off, Eula’s burst deals huge AOE damage that may easily wipe out enemy hordes.
You’ll need to approach your build and general usage in Genshin Impact a little differently than normal if you want to get the most out of Arataki Itto. Itto isn’t like your typical Geo character, or even other DPS characters for that matter. He is less reliant on flashy Elemental abilities and more on sheer force, which is both good and bad. The good news is that Itto can do a lot of damage. The downside is that he isn’t always able to reciprocate. Itto can be one of the most powerful characters in your party if you play your cards right and strategize how and when you use his unique powers.
