1) Deiveson Figueiredo
The Flyweight division of the UFC was in the doldrums before Deiveson Figueiredo decided to spice things up.
The God of War went 3-0-1 in the year and was devastating in all of his fights. He won the vacant title against Joseph Benavidez in brutal fashion after having beaten him twice.
Figueiredo then destroyed Alex Perez before battling Brandon Moreno in a draw, which is also in the running to be the Fight of the Year.
Figueiredo has been excellent for the UFC and he has made the Flyweight division worth talking about again.
