Here are the best Star Wars games that you can play in 2022. Journey into a galaxy far far away and live your life of adventure!
Star Wars is comprised of dozens of storylines, many of which have been retold outside of the main films. Since the franchise’s creation, one of the most popular sources has been video games, with studios reinventing classic Star Wars storylines and characters or creating new ones spanning dozens of gaming genres, including shooters and role-playing games.
Star Wars is without a question one of the most popular television franchises ever created, with millions of enthusiastic fans all over the world. I’m proud to be one of them, and I’m guessing you are as well. The following is a list of the best and most popular Star Wars games of all time.
Best Star Wars Games
LEGO Star Wars: The Complete Saga
Lego Star Wars: The Complete Saga is one of our personal fave Lego-based Star Wars games. The answer is simple: it combines two classic titles, LEGO Star Wars and LEGO Star Wars II, to form an amazing gaming package.
It allows you to control nearly any Lego Star Wars character. The game is divided into 36 stages, with approximately 20 bounty hunter missions and a half-dozen bonus levels. Overall, it’s a comprehensive, easy-to-play game that can be addictive, especially for die-hard fans.
Star Wars: The Old Republic
Star Wars: The Old Republic is a Star Wars-themed massively multiplayer online role-playing game (MMORPG). The game was announced on October 21, 2008, by BioWare Austin and a team from BioWare Edmonton.
The game allows you to pick your own sides and characters; you can either side with the Republic, which is fighting to keep the galaxy peaceful, or join the Sith Empire and become a Sith Warrior or Inquisitor. There are a total of eight characters to pick from, each with their own backstory.
Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic 2: The Sith Lords
It has all the elements of a classic Star Wars adventure – lightsabers, the Force and its Light and Dark divide, exotic alien languages, wookies – but it’s all wrapped up in a much darker, more psychological story, making it an outstanding story game.
And, as much as it allows players to experiment with the Light and Dark sides of the Force, it is an exploration of the area in between. But it’s also exciting: lightsaber duels, engrossing new allies to enlist or corrupt, and the opportunity to make new enemies at every step make this action-adventure game a galactic trip.
Star Wars: Battlefront II
You take part in some of the most legendary battles of the Clone Wars and the Galactic Civil War, which span both generations of Star Wars. Four classes divided into separate fighting roles, as well as a large assortment of vehicles and some fantastic open areas, meant that you constantly felt like you were on the frontlines.
At times, Battlefront II feels like a war game, with a focus on frontline combat between soldiers, but this iteration introduced the Jedi and other renowned combatants to the battlefield. Jedis are only unlocked if the team scores a certain number of points, thereby preventing everyone from wielding a saber.
Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order
The plot of this episode picks up immediately after the events of Episode III. You play as Cal Kestis, one of the last remaining Jedi who must keep his powers hidden during the Jedi purge, which occurs shortly after the creation of Darth Vader.
Something has happened to Cal that has rendered his force abilities ineffectual. You’ll need to remaster them in order to track down other Jedi and defeat Imperial Inquisitors. This adventure will take you to both familiar and unfamiliar regions.
