Dakota Johnson is an American actress who was born on October 4, 1989. She is the daughter of Don Johnson and Melanie Griffith.
She started working at the age of 10 and made her film debut with a minor role in the 1999 dark comedy film Crazy in Alabama. Dakota comes from an acting background.
Her maternal grandparents worked in an advertising agency, as did former child actors Peter Griffith and Tippi Hederen. Johnson’s former stepfather is Spanish actor Antonio Banderas.
