The Indian mobile gaming scene was taken by storm when the popular battle royale game, PUBG was first launched. It had over a billion downloads for the original version and half a million for the Lite version.

With the game being banned in September 2020, fans were searching for the next battle royale game. With the recent launch of BGMI, fans have gotten back the PUBG experience.

BGMI had over 34 million downloads within the first 10 days. The game has received an overwhelming response seeing as it was only launched for android devices. Krafton, the developers of BGMI, has not released the ios version of the game so far.

Just like the original battle royale game, BGMI has some high system requirements even to run at the lowest possible settings. Players with low-end devices are not able to play the game.

The players are flooding social media sites and requesting Krafton to release a Lite version of the game similar to PUBG Lite. This has prompted many third party sites to post fraudulent links which are purely clickbait. They are capitalizing on this opportunity to lure players to their website.

Players should note that Krafton has not made any official announcement regarding the BGMI Lite version even for android. They are currently focusing on releasing the game for the ios version.
