The EST of WWE Bianca Belair has been an asset for WWE in recent times. Her hair has been an x-factor for her but is this WWE superstar hair real?
Bianca Belair is currently the most popular WWE Superstar. Having recently become the No.1 Women Wrestler out of 150 by PWI. She is a former SmackDown Women’s Champion and 2021 Women’s Royal Rumble winner.
Since her WWE debut, she has made quite a difference and used her hair as a weapon. She has this incredibly long hair which we have seen for quite some time now. But “Is it for real?’
According to Belair, she has claimed her braid to be real. In an interview with Jim Varsallone from the Miami Herald, she mentioned that she has never actually measured her hair, but it goes to the floor. She even said that her hair comes till the knee and to prepare her hair for the match is actually a task.
Belair has even used her hair as a weapon against Bayley that made her win at WrestleMania Backlash. She spoke to Hall of Fame Podcast with Brad Gilmore and Booker T, where she revealed that her husband Montez Ford insisted she keep her hair this way. EST of WWE even said that her husband wanted her to stand out than the rest. Since when someone sees you for the first time, they remember the unique thing about you, which makes you stand out.
“First it just came as something as, I just liked the look of it. My husband taught me a lot, even from the very beginning, because he watched wrestling growing up. He was the very first person that, when I was debating wearing a ring or not, he told me; ‘No, you have to wear that because that makes you stand out. So that was the first time I learnt the lesson of ‘this whole thing is about unique and standing out and being different. He’s like, ‘if somebody comes to show and they don’t remember the name the first time they see you, but they will say Hey! that was the girl with the braid’. So it makes you stand out, it makes you unique.”
It was even her coach who suggested she use the hair inside the ring. Belair mentioned her coach Sara Amato who told her that to use that against her opponent. She said about using it against Ruby Riots, and it hurt her, that’s when she realised of using it inside the ring.
“The second step was; I was in the ring with Sara Amato and she was like ‘you might wanna figure out how to use that, otherwise why are you wearing it? Have a reason behind everything you do.’ And that was another lesson I learnt that day and I remember just going in and hitting Ruby Riott with the braid, and Ruby was like ‘that hurt!’.”
We can say that Belair’s hair has been an advantage for her, and we can expect more of that long braid getting her the win.
She has even told that to the metro. uk that her hair is her superpower.
