Bill Goldberg is one of the greatest in the history of professional wrestling and has amassed millions as his net worth
Net Worth (2021) | $14million |
Salary (2021) | $2million |
Age | 54 |
Date of Birth | 27 December, 1966 |
Former WCW star Bill Goldberg made his name in that promotion and he is still building his net worth after making several appearances in WWE.
Goldberg might be 54 in 2021 but he is still going strong and even won the WWE Universal title at Super Showdown.
He defeated The Fiend in a squash match and was good value for the win. Goldberg was just as dominant during his time in WCW and had a record 173 match winning streak which was broken by Kevin Nash.
However, Goldberg’s career wasn’t set for professional wrestling. The American started off as an NFL player and featured for the Los Angeles Rams.
His career ended after a serious injury and started training at the WCW Power Plant after being coerced by Lex Luger and Sting.
Goldberg made his debut in 1997 at Nitro and started picking up quick wins. He wasn’t someone that went a long time in the ring and destroyed opponents with a spear and a jackhammer.
His move set might have been limited, but the powerhouse made the most of it all. Goldberg was such a big star that even when WCW folded, his stardom continued to grow in Japan and he eventually signed for WWE in 2003.
The 54-year-old has had several stints in WWE and has won many top titles too. He has feuded against some of the best and is one of the greatest to have featured in the business.
He recently tried to win the WWE title from Drew McIntyre in 2021, but lost that match too.
Goldberg was one of the top stars during his heyday in WCW and he was even offered a huge salary when he joined WWE.
Some reports suggested that Goldberg was making close to $3million a year, during his time with WCW, which is crazy.
His salary in WWE was also in seven figures during his previous runs. Goldberg’s appearances in Saudi Arabia have also earned him more than seven figures.
Another report suggested that the one-off match at the 2019 Super Showdown saw him earn close to $2million from that one match alone.
It is safe to say that Goldberg has amassed a lot of money over the years, and his net worth is reported to be close to $14Million as of 2021.
The WWE star met his wife, Wanda Ferraton while filming a movie called ‘Santa’s Slay’. Ferraton was a stunt double and Goldberg met her in 2005.
The pair have been seen several times in the past, however, she isn’t seen much around the WWE ring.
Goldberg and his wife, Wanda, also have one son named Gage. The wrestling legend had confirmed that his son was one reason why he came back to the business.
Gage is a huge wrestling fan but had never seen his father perform, something that Goldberg fixed easily with his return to WWE.
The 53-year-old was one of the most popular stars in WCW during its best days and featured in several movies.
Goldberg, even after leaving wrestling, has hosted several series too and is known for his love of cars.
