Home » NBA » Bing makes hilarious mistake by using Shaquille O’Neal’s picture in search for Lorenzo Neal

Search Browser Bing made a massive blunder by using Shaquille O’Neal’s picture in a search tab for Lorenzo Neal.

American retired fullback Lorenzo LaVonne Neal played professionally for sixteen seasons in the National Football League (NFL). Neal represented the Fresno State Bulldogs in collegiate football. At the 1993 NFL Draft, the New Orleans Saints selected him in the fourth round. LaVonne played for the New York Jets, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Tennessee Titans, Cincinnati Bengals, San Diego Chargers, Baltimore Ravens, and Oakland Raiders during his time in the NFL.

He is a four-time Pro Bowl selection and a three-time All-Pro. Neal, regarded as one of the top blocking fullbacks in NFL history, blocked for a running back who gained 1,000 or more yards for eleven consecutive seasons from 1997 to 2007.

Recently, Microsoft Bing, the search browser, showed retired NBA legend Shaquille O’Neal’s image when they searched for Lorenzo Neal.

American former professional basketball player Shaquille O’Neal, also known as “Shaq,” is a sports analyst on the television show Inside the NBA. One of the best centers and basketball players of all time is O’Neal. He is a center who stands 7 feet 1 inch (2.16 meters) tall, weighs 325 pounds (147 kilograms), and has won four NBA championships. During his 19-year NBA career, he played for six different clubs.

The 1999–2000 Most Valuable Player (MVP) Award, the 1992–93 NBA Rookie of the Year Award, the 1992–93 All-Star game MVP Award, three Finals MVP Awards, two scoring titles, 15 All-Star Game selections, three All-Star Game MVP Awards, selections to 14 All–NBA teams, and three All–NBA Defensive Team selections are among O’Neal’s honors.

Shaq and Lorenzo, both have had legendary careers and identical career trajectories. Both are regarded as one the best in their respective positions. Confusing one for another is hilarious and a bit insulting for Lorenzo Neal. Such a mistake can appear racially offensive to the African American community.

Bing has long struggled to compete against Chrome, Firefox, Opera, Brave, and other search engines. Making such mistakes can put a stain on their reputation among users. Bing is owned by Microsoft and was launched in 2009.
