American retired fullback Lorenzo LaVonne Neal played professionally for sixteen seasons in the National Football League (NFL). Neal represented the Fresno State Bulldogs in collegiate football. At the 1993 NFL Draft, the New Orleans Saints selected him in the fourth round. LaVonne played for the New York Jets, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Tennessee Titans, Cincinnati Bengals, San Diego Chargers, Baltimore Ravens, and Oakland Raiders during his time in the NFL.
He is a four-time Pro Bowl selection and a three-time All-Pro. Neal, regarded as one of the top blocking fullbacks in NFL history, blocked for a running back who gained 1,000 or more yards for eleven consecutive seasons from 1997 to 2007.
