Tennis action moves to the BMW Open scheduled from 25 April to 1 May. The BMW Open is one of the oldest tennis tournaments, having been started in 1900 as the Bavarian International Tennis Championship. However, since 1974, the competition has been renamed the BMW Open.
Listed below are the players taking part in the tournament along with the draw and schedule for the 2022 BMW Open.
BMW Open 2022: Players and Schedule
A total of 9 seeded players are competing at the BMW Open this year. They include Alexander Zverev, Casper Ruud, Reilly Opelka, Nikoloz Basilashvili, Daniel Evans, Cristian Garin, Alexander Bublik and Miomir Kecmanovic.
And here are the unseeded players taking part at the clay event – Filip Krajinovic, Botic van de Zandschulp, Ilya Ivashka, Alex Molcan, Mackenzie McDonald, Marcos Giron, Marton Fucsovics, Tallon Griekspoor, Jan-Lennard Struff, Hugo Gaston, Daniel Altmaier and wildcard entry Philipp Kohlschreiber.
The qualifying rounds in Munich were held on Saturday and Sunday. The main draw action began on Monday at 11 AM local time, with the grand finale scheduled for 1 May.

BMW Open 2022 Prediction
While there are a few top players taking part in the BMW Open this year, our prediction is that Alexander Zverev and Casper Ruud will make it to the final. We predict Ruud to edge Zverev at the final hurdle as well.
