Bobby Green Lays Down Explosive Accusations Again: Are Russian UFC Fighters Cheating?

Bobby Green, the outspoken UFC fighter, has once again stirred controversy by accusing Russian fighters in the UFC of getting away with cheating. However, as with any story involving Bobby Green, there’s more to it than meets the eye. In a previous interview, he leveled accusations of cheating against fighters like Islam Makhachev, raising questions about the integrity of their bouts.

Now, when asked for his prediction regarding the main event of UFC 294, Green has gone a step further, doubling down on his previous claims.

“I’m gonna go with Islam [against Oliveira], and the only reason I’ll say that is … you should be on the motherf—ker,” Green asserted in a recent interview on the JAXXON PODCAST.

“You should see behind the scenes. Why do they keep sending ’em over to Abu Dhabi, you know what I mean?

“The Russian be cheating right now,” he continued, adding, “No disrespect to none of the Russian people if you’re my fans, I f—k with you, but I’ve been seeing some funny s—t that I’m like, ‘Oh.’ Because I know people all around and in different sections and stuff. For instance, Khabib [Nurmagomedov] and Islam and them, they go to a mosque. They train in some place where you can’t be — USADA can’t go, you can’t come in here. For months they can do whatever they wanna do.”

These provocative remarks from Green have ignited a debate within the MMA community about the fairness of competitions involving Russian fighters in the UFC.

Bobby Green’s Shocking Revelation: Claims to Have Dominated UFC Champion Sean Strickland in Sparring

Bobby Green has dropped a bombshell by revealing that he used to dominate the current UFC middleweight champion, Sean Strickland, during their sparring sessions.

Sean Strickland and Bobby Green Sean Strickland recently clinched the UFC middleweight championship, but before his rise to UFC stardom, he and Bobby Green engaged in intense sparring battles. Green disclosed that they trained together when they were around 21 or 22 years old, and during those sessions, he asserted that he easily got the better of Strickland.

Green shared this intriguing tidbit on the Jaxxon podcast, shedding light on their earlier encounters. He explained the connection, saying, “Shout out to Strickland. A little backstory, my dad, I got a little white dad, he’s a black belt. He got his black belt from Sean’s coach. So, out of respect, because Sean was trying to have his MMA career go, we must have been 21, 22, he would call me to go over and spar with Sean. Sean was fighting at 185, I’m a 155’er. But, I would beat the dog shit out of him. Ask him to this day, he’ll say Bobby Green is a problem.”

As of now, Sean Strickland has not commented on these sparring sessions or Green’s claims. Whether Strickland chooses to respond remains to be seen. However, it’s worth noting that these sessions took place when both fighters were at the early stages of their MMA careers. Furthermore, the two share a close friendship, eliminating any possibility of a rematch. Nevertheless, Bobby Green asserts that, when they did spar, he consistently outperformed Strickland.

Bobby Green is set to make his return to the Octagon as the main event at UFC Vegas 80, where he’ll face Grant Dawson. Green’s recent performance includes a submission victory over Tony Ferguson in July, following a No Contest against Jared Gordon. Prior to that, he experienced back-to-back losses to Drew Dober, a KO, and a submission loss to Islam Makhchev in his first UFC main event. Currently holding a UFC record of 11-9-1 with one No Contest, Green aims to make a statement in his upcoming bout.
