In his NASCAR career, Bobby Isaac drove plenty of Dodge vehicles including the 1969 Winged Dodge Charger Daytona, 1970 Dodge Charger, and 1970 Dodge Challenger R/T. He won the 1970 Cup Series championship with the Winged Dodge vehicle which was also displayed at the Wellburn Muscle Car Museum in Alexander City, Alabama. Bobby Isaac also drove a #15 Ford Torino for Bud Moore.

Bobby Isaac Car Accidents

Though Bobby Isaac survived races without accidents, he shocked everyone with his exit in a race at Talladega Speedway in 1973. Isaac was driving at 190mph in his Ford and he was on course to win the race. After a few minutes, Bobby Isaac exited his car and didn’t complete the race. He revealed a mysterious voice asked him to quit the event. After 4 years, Bobby Isaac died while driving a late model race at Hickory Motor Speedway. Isaac exited on the pit road and collapsed due to extreme heat. Isaac was taken to the hospital, but he died of a heart attack.

The #71 Red colored Dodge Charger brought him luck as he won the NASCAR Cup Series championship in 1970 for K&K Insurance racing team.
