Amanda Serrano vs Yamileth Mercado was the co-main event at the recently concluded Jake Paul vs Tyron Woodley boxing night
Jake Paul vs Tyron Woodley concluded almost a fortnight ago. The event saw Paul extend his unbeaten streak, as he earned a narrow split decision victory over debutant Woodley.
The card also saw several notable names take part. Paul’s latest rival Tommy Fury was one, British heavyweight prospect Daniel Dubois the other.
The co-main event was a women’s featherweight fight between Amanda Serrano and Yamileth Mercado.
A dominant performance from Serrano saw her retain the WBC, WBO, and IBO female featherweight titles.
Having been at the top of her career, the 32 year old has an impressive record of 41 wins and just 1 loss.
There have been talks of Serrano reaching the business end of her career. A title unification fight with Katie Taylor might be in the works, and Jake Paul has reached out to Serrano to help her with the negotiations.

In a recent Tweet, Amanda Serrano expressed her excitement in working with Jake Paul and his management team, Most Valuable Promotions.
Here is what she had to say about looking forward to working with Paul:
“Great story but I don’t have a promoter anymore. Myself & @loudibella had a good 5 yrs 2gether. We are still good friends & there is No hard feelings but at this point in my career a Promoter isn’t needed. I’m excited to be part of @jakepaul & his management’s team moving forward.”
It is worth noting that, Serrano’s older sister Cindy Serrano has already fought Katie Taylor, and lost via. unanimous decision.
