Dillon Danis laid out a challenge for himself on Twitter recently
Dillon Danis wants the Jake Paul smoke. The submission specialist who has squared off online against the YouTube star stated that he would retire if Paul sleeps him.
Paul is currently 5-0 up in his professional boxing career, and his recent KO win over former UFC welterweight champ Tyron Woodley has got the combat sports community buzzing.
Acknowledging the fact that fighting Paul would make a big payday, Danis upped the stakes in his recent Tweet:
Danis wrote:
“If jake paul sleeps me i’ll retire forever.”
Paul wasn’t even a professional boxer when Danis last competed. His last fight was on the 14th of June, 2019 at Bellator 222. He beat Max Humphrey.
Jake Paul dismisses 65K PPV buys as rumours
It was recently reported that the Paul vs Woodley 2 sold just 65K PPV buys. A number very small when compared to what a Conor McGregor PPV would sell.
However, Paul, in his recent Tweet called them ‘bullsh*t’ whilst adding the fact the numbers were still rolling in.
Here is what ‘The Problem Child’s Tweet read:
“The PPV number rumors are bullshit 1st fight w Woodley we sold 500k+ Numbers for this one are still rolling in but still looking positive Not my best business night But remember.. Everyone wanted to see me Vs. Fury and that’s what we sold.”
He also went on to laud Woodley and Showtime Boxing in his follow-up Tweet:
“Shoutout to Showtime for riding with me and all the fighters on the card and Tyron for not being a bitch like most of these “fighters” are..”
