Jake Paul will face Tommy Fury on the 18th of December, 2021 in an eight-round pro-boxing contest
Jake Paul’s opponent is finally set. As expected, ‘The Problem Child’ will square off against Tyson Fury’s half-brother Tommy Fury on the 18th of December, later this year.
The pair have been going at it for quite a while, and almost came within moments of physical contact during Paul vs Tyron Woodley, a couple of months ago.
The fight is set to be an 8 round contest, and Amalie Arena, the home of Tampa Bay Lightning will host the event.
The tickets are set to go on sale from the 10th of November.
Paul announced the confirmation of the fight on social media. Taking a nasty jibe at Fury, Paul wrote:
“It’s finally official. Timothy had no choice but to sign the contract so he could finally pay his bar tabs, afford a shirt for the club, and stop living off Molly! December 18th in Tampa Bay Im changing this wankers name to Tommy Fumbles and celebrating with Tom Brady. Pucker up Timmy… it’s time to kiss your last name and your family’s boxing legacy goodbye. Ez money lineup here aye? #PaulFury One Will Fall. Tickets on sale November 10th!
Paul is coming off a narrow split decision win over Tyron Woodley on the 29th of August, 2021.
He is currently 4-0 up in his professional boxing career.
Tommy Fury, for his part, announced the fight on his social media as well. He promised to knock the spark out of Jake Paul.
Fury wrote:
“Time to do what should’ve been done to you a long time ago….You’re getting knocked spark out. @jakepaul. Tickets on sale November 10th. #PaulFury one will fall.”
Fury, is currently 7-0 up in his boxing career. He is coming off a unanimous decision win over Anthony Taylor, in the undercard of Paul vs Woodley.
Someone’s got to lose their 0.
