“Don’t ever doubt me” – Tyson Fury after his wild KO win over Deontay Wilder

Tyson Fury vs Deontay Wilder 3 will go down in history as one of the greatest boxing spectacles of all time

Boxing is nowhere close to being dead. Tyson Fury and Deontay Wilder put on one of the greatest displays of character, grit and determination at the T-Mobile Arena on the 9th of October.

The initial rounds of the fight looked to be going in favour of the champion Fury, after he scored a big knockdown in round 3.

Wilder came swinging out in round 4, giving his all. 2 knockdowns the ‘Bronze Bomber’ scored in a one-sided 10-7 round.

You could cut the tension with a knife. With the fight balancing on a tight rope, Fury began finding his feet in the later rounds.

After round 9, it was Fury all the way. However, Wilder’s right hand was always there, waiting to pounce on Fury like a rabid dog.

His threat was finally laid to rest after a massive strike from Fury knocked him out cold in the 11th round.

Tyson Fury’s Twitter handle, probably taken care of by his brother Shane Fury (during the fight alone), wasted no time in putting out a Tweet following the win.

Recovering from two knockdowns early in the fight, Fury sent a stern message to the naysayers to “never ever doubt him.”

His Tweet read:

“Don’t ever doubt me, when the chips are down I always deliver!”

Fury will now be looking forward to becoming the undisputed heavyweight champion of the world, with the remaining belts in the hands of Ukrainian champ Oleksandr Usyk.
