The coronavirus pandemic led to the cancellation and postponement of several sporting events.
A number of boxing fights that were scheduled for this year had to be cancelled or rescheduled. With sporting action resuming across the globe, here we bring you the schedule of boxing fights that have been confirmed.
Quite a few high-profile fights were supposed to take place in 2020. Anthony Joshua was scheduled to defend his titles against Kubrat Pulev, while Deontay Wilder and Tyson Fury were penned to complete their trilogy fight as well. There hasn’t been any confirmation on those two bouts as of yet.
In spite of that, some exciting bouts will be coming our way in the remainder of the year. Dillian Whyte will be battling it out against Alexander Povetkin for the WBC Heavyweight ‘Interim’ title next month, while Katie Taylor defends her titles against Delfine Pearson.
