Following a legion of kickboxing experience, Brad Riddell ventured into mixed martial arts.
He made his MMA debut on the 31st of August, 2013 at International Boxing and took on Gi Gean Key and started off with a first round KO win.
Nearly 4 years later, Riddell had his next fight, and it was against Erruer Ye at Glory of Heroes: Conquest of Heroes 2. He earned a TKO win.
He then took on Song Kenan and earned yet another TKO win before moving to Hex Fight Series and suffering his first career defeat – against Abel Brites.
Riddell bounced back with back-to-back wins over Shem Murdoch and Maxim Pugachev at Glory of Heroes. He then went on to win the Wollongong Wars Welterweight Championship after beating Mikey Vaotuua in July 2019.
After this, Riddel joined the UFC. He made his promotional debut at UFC 243 on the 5th of October, 2019, the same day his teammate Israel Adesanya became the middleweight champion.
Riddell took on Jamie Mullarkey and started off with a unanimous decision win. Since then he has gone on to beat Magomed Mustafaev, Alex da Silva Coelho and Drew Dober. He is undefeated in the UFC.
