Brie Bella started her career as a model and made her first national TV appearance on the Fox reality show Meet My Folks.
Nicole signed a developmental contract with her sister Brie Bella by WWE in 2007 and was assigned to FCW, where she made her in-ring debut as a tag team with her sister and won.
Since they were look-alike, Nikki and Brie switched places behind the referee’s back if one of them was hurt.
Interestingly, Brie Bella made her debut in SmackDown and not Nikki. In every match, Brie would go underneath the ring and emerge and appear as a revived, fully charged one even after the beating and would eventually win the game. However, this hides and seek was caught and ended by WWE female star Victoria and Natalya when they pulled out Bella Twins under the ring.
The Bella twins had their first official match on SmackDown, where they defeated Victoria and Natalya.
Then, in November 2009, Both were drafted to Raw Brand, where Nikki made her in-ring debut in a Battle Royal.
In August 2009, The Bella Twins announced being part of the all-female third season of NXT and would mentor WWE Female star Jamie. In addition, they began to manage WWE superstar Daniel Bryan and started accompanying him in the ring.
On April 11, 2011, Brie defeated Eva Torres to win the WWE Divas Championship for the first and only time in her WWE career.

In April 2014, Brie was involved with her real-life husband, Daniel Bryan, ongoing storyline with Stephanie McMahon and Kane.
McMahon threatened to fire Brie if an injured Bryan didn’t win the title at WWE Payback, and that forced Brie to quit WWE before slapping McMahon in the face.
Both Brie and Nikki Bella competed in the inaugural women’s Royal Rumble match at the 2018 Royal Rumble.
