5. Brock Lesnar versus The Undertaker (No Mercy 2002)
The Undertaker was at that time portraying The American Badass gimmick. Brock was just finding his feet in WWE and despite that, he was grabbing attention for unbelievable athleticism for a man of his size. Lesnar, back then had more of a ripped look than the has now. However, in terms of power, he was second to none.
Lesnar and ‘Taker had many memorable matches in the former’s second stint in WWE. But this match had different brutality to it altogether. It isn’t a surprise as well because The Phenom was arguably at the peak of his powers back then. This was a Hell in a Cell match and both the wrestler did justice to the name. Brock had already gone past Hulk Hogan and The Rock and his stocks were already on the rise.
Brock took control of the match early on as he wore down the veteran. The Dead Man, however, busted Brock open and brush Brock’s face against the unforgiving steel. ‘Taker would push Lesnar against the steel. Paul Heyman tried to stop the onslaught but received a kick for his efforts.
Lesnar was however able to turn the tide in his favor as he tied ‘Taker’ hand to the cage and assaulted it with a steel chair as the soon-to-be Hall of Famer had nowhere to go. Lesnar busted The Undertaker open by hitting him with the steel steps. Undertaker would muster one last gasp effort as he delivered the Choke Slam, the Last Ride, and tried to put Lesnar away with the Tombstone but Lesnar countered it into the F-5 to win the match.
4. Brock Lesnar versus Eddie Guerrero – No Mercy 2004
This is a match that wrestling fans will surely remember. This was the Late, great Eddie Guerrero’s first and only World Championship-winning moment in WWE. When Guerrero won the match, the crowd’s reaction was surreal.

The Hall of Famer countered the F-5 from Brock and turned it into a DDT on the title. Guerrero climbed the ropes and delivered the Frog Splash this time to create one of the best moments in WWE.

Rollins and Cena fought in the ring and The Architect got help from J & J security but Cena took care of them with a double AA. Rollins survived the AA from Cena and as Rollins looked to unleash his flurry of offense, Lesnar returned and delivered a suplex on the former Shield member and finished the match in moments with the F-5.
2. Brock Lesnar versus CM Punk – SummerSlam 2013
It was very difficult to put this match in second place. This match had it all. Lesnar displayed all his power but Punk managed to keep fighting. Tremendous resilience was on show from the Straight Edge Superstar.
This No Disqualification match lived up to its hype. Punk was swung like rag doll. Suplexed uncountable times. Tossed and thrown around for fun. However, Punk kept fighting.
Punk looked to finish off the Beast as he went for the GTS but Lesnar countered it into a Kimora lock. Punk would however, counter it into a triangle choke. Every offensive move from Punk made Lesnar even more angry.
Punk finally managed to get the upper hand when he grabbed a steel chair and hit Brock multiple times. He managed to hit the GTS this time but Heyman interfered. Punk took out Heyman but that gave Lesnar enough time to recover as he hit Punk with the chair and ended the match with F-5 on the steel chair. It was a real hard-fought contest between two tremendous athletes.
1. Brock Lesnar versus Kurt Angle – SmackDown (September 18th 2003)
This was a grueling 60-minute Iron Man Match for Angle’s WWE Championship. Lesnar displayed unbelievable strength while Angle’s vigor was a treat to watch.
Angle took the early lead when the in-your-face Lesnar disqualified himself hitting Angle with a steel chair. But those chair shots helped him later on as he picked up three consecutive falls. One of those was courtesy Angle tapping out to his own move, The Ankle lock.
Lesnar extended Angle’s deficit to 5-2 as the two men didn’t make the time feel as long as it was. Every moment was enjoyed and cheered by the fans.
Angle would get his own payback when he hit the F-5 on Lesnar. The impact hurt Lesnar’s knee as it hit the ring post. Angle won two successive falls with tremendous display of grit and determination and taking advantage of Lesnar’s damaged knee.
At 5-4, Angle just needed to win one fall to level things up and retain the title. The riveting match saw a nerve-wrecking finish as Angle got the Ankle lock in on Lesnar with just seconds remaining. The Beast, however, held on to win the title.
