BTS is expected to make a comeback in 2025, and it is official. This article explores more about it.
Comprising seven talented members – RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V, and Jungkook, BTS has achieved unprecedented success since their debut in 2013 under Big Hit Entertainment.
What sets BTS apart is their unique blend of K-pop, hip-hop, and R&B, coupled with thought-provoking lyrics that tackle a wide range of social and personal issues, from mental health to self-acceptance. Their music resonates with fans worldwide, transcending language barriers and uniting a diverse global fanbase known as the “ARMY.“
BTS has shattered numerous records and achieved milestones, from topping Billboard charts to selling out stadiums around the world. Their dedication to their craft, impressive live performances, and genuine connection with their fans have earned them critical acclaim and respect in the music industry.
BTS, the super-famous K-pop group, had to take a break from their music journey. On June 14, 2022, they made a video and shared it on social media to tell everyone that they were taking a big pause, but they didn’t say when they’d be back.
At first, the seven BTS members – Jin, Suga, J-Hope, RM, Jimin, V, and Jungkook – said in June 2022 that they were going on a break so they could do their own projects, like making their own songs or doing other cool stuff.
Then, in October 2022, they said they would each do their military service. In South Korea, guys like them have to work in the military for about 18 to 21 months before they turn 28. But here’s the thing: the government said they could wait until they’re 30, so they got a two-year break from that.
It’s like when you have to do your homework, but you can ask your teacher for more time, and they say okay. So, BTS got more time to do their military service.
This break is a bit sad for fans, but it’s a part of the rules in South Korea, so they have to do it. Fans are hoping they’ll be back soon with more awesome music. But, when will they come back? is the most asked question among their fans.
After their break started, two of the BTS members, Jin and J-Hope, went to do their military service. Suga is now getting ready for his turn. The other guys in the group are doing their own things for now.
Not too long ago, BTS’s leader, RM (also known as Kim Nam-joon), talked to their fans during a live video on a platform called Weverse. You can watch it on YouTube if you want to see it.
During the video, RM read a letter from a fan who loves BTS a lot. The fan said they were waiting for BTS to come back in 2025. RM felt the same way, and he mentioned that Suga had talked about how fans were eagerly waiting for the big reunion in 2025.
RM said: “I definitely feel that…” He thinks that their solo projects, like making their own music, are like a little break from their main group, BTS. He sees it as a journey they have to take, an important one for the next chapter of their music. It’s like going on a trip, but the most important part is coming back home safely. In 2025, they plan to get back together and start making music as BTS again.
So, even though the guys are doing their own things right now, they’re excited to reunite with their fans in 2025 and continue making great music together. It’s like they’re on a little adventure, but they know their home is with their fans, the ARMY, and they can’t wait to go back there.
BTS is like a super-valuable brand. It’s so valuable that it brings in more than $3.9 billion to South Korea’s economy. Imagine that!
A smart group called the Hyundai Research Institute checked things out and found that because of BTS, around 800,000 people visit South Korea every year. And guess what? They spend a lot of money there, about $1.1 billion! That’s a ton of cash. The researchers also figured out that one out of every 13 tourists in South Korea is there because of BTS.
Now, here’s another interesting thing: each of the seven BTS members is really rich too. In 2020, Forbes said they were worth about $50 million altogether. That’s a lot of money!
But here’s the cool part: BTS and their company, Big Hit Entertainment, are also really generous. Back in June 2020, they gave away a whopping $1 million to help the Black Lives Matter movement in the United States. They wanted to make a difference and support the cause.
And it doesn’t stop there! In May 2021, one of the BTS guys named J-Hope, also known as Jung Ho-seok, donated more than $89,000 to help children in Tanzania, East Africa. He gave the money to ChildFund Korea to help build a special place called the One Stop Center.
Another BTS member named Suga gave $88,000 on March 11, 2021, to a hospital called Keimyung University Dongsan Medical Center. This hospital is in his hometown, Daegu, and he wanted to do something special for his 28th birthday.
So, not only is BTS super successful and worth a lot of money, but they also use their success to do good things and help people in need. That’s pretty awesome!
