Call of Duty 1.15 Update

Both games will go live after two updates: one for Vanguard at 9 a.m. PT on March 22 and another for Warzone at 9 a.m. PT on March 23. Sledgehammer Games, the game’s developers, has also verified that today’s patch contains a number of major bug fixes.

Sniper Rifle Balance Changes

Type 99

This one is for all of your Quickscopers out there. Faster ADS time and less sway while walking makes it ideal for high-risk, high-reward sniping. But watch out for return fire – you’re fast but not invincible!

3-Line Rifle

Reliability at its finest. We decreased the flinch received when taking fire to allow players to maintain accuracy while holding a position.

Our jack-of-all-trades Sniper Rifle. Although it was already a popular choice, we decreased its ADS time to give it a better chance in close-quarters combat to offer an alternative to the Type 99.

Aim Assist

The Aim Assist mechanism was left to assume that no players were visible in certain conditions, which meant that Aim Assist might deactivate many times in a single encounter. Before continuing, the updated Aim Assist system will guarantee that a result from the “player visibility check” is received, and the developers are certain that it will perform as intended based on testing.
