Here is all you need to know about Call of Duty Mobile Season 2, including its release date and new content.
Call of Duty Mobile Season 2 has yet another update with more content for Task Force 141 is on the way, and it’s likely to shake up the popular handheld game. The usual huge number of different maps and weapons are on the way, and we’ve got a sneak peek at what to expect in the next major patch.
The next season, like every prior update, will provide new maps, modes, weapons, and other features to the game, as well as a slew of optimizations and balance changes. A brand new battle pass will also be provided a few days after the patch is launched on the App Stores. Here’s all you need to know about CoD Mobile Season 2, including its release date and new content.
Season 2 of Call of Duty Mobile: Task Force 141 will release on Wednesday, February 23 at 4 p.m. PT \ 7 p.m. ET. Following Season 1: Heist, there will be a five-week gap between seasonal updates.
The reveal of a new weapon was one of the first Season 2 teasers. While it’s common for Call of Duty Mobile developers to release two guns at the same time, that trend was changed on February 7 with the announcement of a new Shotgun. Modern Warfare’s JAK-12 Shotgun appears to be next in line for Call of Duty Mobile, based on an empty weapon box. The JAK-12 is one of the final guns to come across, with practically every pistol from the 2019 game now available.
Hardhat is a building site for a new commercial complex that first appeared in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3. With its many choke points and unfinished buildings, much of the map invites itself to close-quarters combat.
While we haven’t seen the Call of Duty Mobile version in its entirety, an early preview appears to offer a new map theme. Hardhat now appears to take place during a rainy night, rather than a sunny afternoon.
New Operators, a new functional weapon, Weapon Blueprints, Calling Cards, Charms, COD Points (CP), and more are available in Season 2’s Battle Pass.
Use the new Chopper Gunner Scorestreak earned at Tier 14 to decimate your enemies from above, and the automatic JAK-12 Shotgun unlocked at Tier 21 to keep the rounds flying. Other freebies include camos, Weapon Blueprints, and cosmetics with unique themes such as Charm – Naval Mine and Sticker – Gravity Snakes.
You may buy the Battle Pass to unlock all of the content in the Task Force 141 stream, including Gaz and Ghost, two of the team’s most recognizable members. Unlock Alex – Hard Wired and Charly – Striker to fill out your crew, and equip them with additional weapons including the ASM10 – Snakeskin, Outlaw – Crash Course, Type 25 – Bolt Press, and Jak-12 – Treecutter.
Call of Duty Mobile is available on the App Store and the Google Play Store.
