Activision is releasing the next instalment of its popular fps franchise titles Call of Duty Vanguard. Here is everything you need to know about the upcoming game.
While the setting is similar in Call of Duty Vanguard, there are a number of characteristics that Call of Duty fans will either love or despise, depending on how you look at it. Aside from the revival of the popular Zombies game mode, which picks up where Call of Duty Black Ops: Cold War left off, the developer has tweaked a few gameplay mechanics ahead of the game’s November release.
On Friday, November 5, 2021, Call of Duty: Vanguard will be released. Regardless of preorder status, the game will be released on that date worldwide.
The game will have two different editions. The standard edition will have the base game and pre-order operator and weapons skins while the Ultimate edition, which will be released digitally, will have some bonus perks.
Call of Duty Vanguard is based on the Modern Warfare/Warzone game engine, so if you’ve played those games before, it’ll feel like reuniting with an old pal. There will be enough to do when the game launches, with 20 maps to choose from, 16 of which will be conventional Multiplayer maps. The other four are exclusive maps for the brand new Champion Hill game mode, which blends Search and Destroy’s limited lives with Team Deathmatch’s fast-paced action.
Patrol is a game mode similar to Hardpoint in that the capture point moves throughout the map, forcing interactions with the opposition team as well as the possibility of sneaky strategies. According to the Call of Duty blog, the ‘Combat Pacing’ system allows you to queue for three different types of lobbies, allowing you to choose between smaller and larger lobbies depending on how you want to play.
The Call of Duty franchise brings something for the players with every new game. We are eagerly waiting for this next instalment to shoot some heads. Call of Duty Vanguard will be available on the Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PS4, PS5 and PC on November 5.
