Warzone Modern Warfare update: Modern Warfare 2
Two iconic maps will be returning to the franchise with Modern Warfare 2- Shoot House and Shipment. They have been reimagined and included with this latest title. Moreover, Ranked Matches are currently under development by Infinity Ward and Treyarch.
Other competitive modes such as CDL Moshpit Playlist can help players quench their thirst for competitive gameplay. The playlist features some classic COD modes such as Hardpoint, Search and Destroy.
For Special Ops, there is a new mission called High Ground which indeed seems like one of the best additions in the game. Activision has also confirmed that Raids will be dropping for Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 as a mid-season update.
In Season 1, there will be a new Battle Pass which will be available for purchase for the players. Alongside some cool cosmetics and items, players will also receive four new weapons- Victus XMR Sniper Rifle, BAS-P SMG, Chimera Assault Rifle, and M13B Assault Rifle.
There will be new Operators joining this title as well. Alongside Zeus, Klaus, and Gaz, football stars Messi, Neymar, and Pogba will also feature as Operators as part of the Modern Warfare FC event collaboration.
Warzone Modern Warfare update: Warzone
In Warzone, there is a whole new bunch of features coming in which will surely excite the fans. The new features will further enhance the Call of Duty Battle Royale experience. Activision is adding a new map called Al Mazrah in the game. Alongside this, there are some other new additions such as new Gulag, vehicles, and a plethora of features such as Aquatic Combat, Proximity Chat, Third Person Playlists, and more.
A new mode will also be coming with the new Warzone called the DMZ. This mode will involve a unique kind of faction-based missions. Several fans and gaming enthusiasts are already quite excited to try out this new mode. However, Sentinels player and popular Twitch streamer Shroud does not seem quite happy with what DMZ has to offer.
Shroud on the Warzone Modern Warfare update said in a recent stream that the DMZ felt like a reworked version of Plunder from the original warzone. Some players have also attributed DMZ to be a casual version of the hardcore FPS game Escape from Tarkov.
However, Shroud thinks that the two games are quite different than each other because Warzone 2.0 lacks several good elements from Escape from Tarakov. Shroud says, “I’m a little disappointed, I will say. I was hoping it would be a little bit more gritty, little bit more hardcore.”
