At just the age of 16, Beckman won a modeling competition, and around 1999 she moved to Los Angeles, California, to become a professional model and actress.

Candice was a part of one of the most exciting matchups at One Night Stand, where Candice defeated Melina in the first-ever match held in a swimming pool of pudding.
Michelle defeated Melina to capture her first WWE Women’s Championship at Vengeance, making her the first-ever WWE Diva Search contestant to win the Women’s Title. Additionally, she debuted her new finisher called the Candywrapper against Melina at The Great American Bash.
She was released from the WWE contract on June 19, 2009, after being drafted to the SmackDown brand. Candice later announced that her retirement match would take place at the House of Hardcore 36.
However, Candice returned to WWE in 2019 during the Raw Reunion episode as a heel and attacked Kelly Kelly. She pinned Kelly to become the WWE 24/7 Champion with Melina as referee.
