The game showcase for Disney’s D23 Expo was held on Friday, and it showed fans a first glimpse of the Captain America black Panther game. Although the game does not have a specified title yet, fans were exhilarated seeing the trailer. The game is set during World War II and sees the superheroes battling Hydra. The game will see four playable characters: Steve Rogers as Captain America, Azzuri (T’Challa’s grandfather) who is Black Panther, Gabriel Jones, a member of the Howling Commandos, as well as Nanali, who is the leader of the fledgling Wakandan Spy Network. As the game’s tagline reads, players will get to witness “Four Heroes. Two Worlds. One War.” take place in this thrilling title.
While not much has been revealed about the game so far, the trailer looks quite promising. However, it does not mention a release date or year. Therefore, fans can be sure that the title’s release is still a long way to go.
Amy Hennig will create the Captain America and Black Panther title
The Captain America Black Panther game will be developed by Skydance New Media’s Amy Hennig, who is the mastermind behind world-class titles like Uncharted. Therefore, fans have high expectations from the game, as Amy Hennig’s titles have always been enjoyable.
