Carlos Felipe made his MMA record on the 29th of November, 2014 at Velame Fight Combat 3 against Ronilson Santos. He knocked Santos out in the very first round.
He quickly rose through the ranks, and was already 8-0 up within three years time.
Out of the 8 wins he had, only two were via decision. The rest were knockouts. Most of his fights until then were fought in and around Salvador, Brazil.
Felipe’s impressive record earned him a chance in the UFC. He was set to make his debut in late 2017. However, things came to a standstill after he tested positive for steroid stanozolol.
Following his positive test, Felipe was banned for two years, which also lead to the UFC releasing him.
On the 20th of July, 2019 Felipe was resigned by the UFC. The Brazilian made his UFC debut on the 19th of July, 2020 against Sergey Spivak and suffered a majority decision loss, which was the first L of his career.

Carlos Felipe was born on the 12th of January, 1995 in Feira de Santana, Brazil. Not much is known about his parents.
Felipe was bullied throughout his childhood for being overweight. It was boxing that gave him his much-needed respite. He was able to shed a ton of pounds while training, and has since then taken up combat sports seriously.
He is currently in a relationship with Izabella Costa who is also an MMA fighter.
