WWE has planned some great matches with Survivor Series a couple of weeks away.
This is the first time that NXT will be involved in the special and Triple H’s project has already hit SmackDown and Raw hard in recent weeks.
Adam Cole faced Daniel Bryan and Seth Rollins while Shayna Baszler has attacked Bayley too.
NXT UK faction, The Imperium, attacked Heavy Machinery on SmackDown recently, which saw several wrestlers come out to the ring.
One major talking point of Survivor Series is the 5-on-5 elimination matches, and there will be a women’s version too.
SmackDown named Sasha Banks as the captain for the 5-on-5 match. Carmella and Dana Brooke are also part of the team for the clash against Raw and NXT.
However, the Princess of Staten Island wasn’t happy with the decision to name Banks as the captain.
She questioned what The Boss had done to earn that role, given that Banks had been out with an injury for a while.
A Banks supporter highlighted that The Boss is one of the best stars in the WWE and didn’t think that Carmella had done anything better.
However, Mella highlighted that Banks has a poor record of defending her title against Charlotte.
Carmella claimed that Banks was a top wrestler, however, The Boss has lost the title several times to Charlotte.
Mella, for her part, defended the title against Charlotte at Backlash in 2018, and it will be interesting to see how the SmackDown team’s dynamic works out.
SmackDown still has a couple of spots open for the women’s 5-on-5 match. The two open spots should be finalised in the coming weeks.
Raw hasn’t shared who will captain their team or how they will select the women for this clash.
NXT too hasn’t shared their team for the triple threat match against Banks’ side and Raw.
Mella has been in a lot of WWE’s social media updates as she is dating former wrestler Corey Graves.
Graves is best known for his work on the mike and is one of the best commentators WWE has seen in recent years.
Survivor Series features other matches between the three brands and could become one of the best pay-per-views in recent history.
