He is married to Dinah Mattingly

Larry Bird was an iconic NBA basketball player known for leaving an indelible mark on people everywhere he went. Winning numerous awards, he is widely considered one of the greatest shooters and clutch performers ever seen on the court. Beyond his playing days, Bird also became an accomplished businessman with endorsement deals with clothing lines and video game publishers; yet still remains humble and wise after so much success.

After his marriage to Janet Condra ended, he met Dinah Mattingly at Indiana State University. They eventually married and have since adopted two children – Conner and Mariah. At present, they reside together in West Baden Springs.

Dinah and her husband, Richard have been together for more than 40 years and remain blissfully in love. Dinah is an enthusiastic supporter of Richard’s basketball games; her presence helps ease his transition from playing to coaching smoothly. Dinah can often be found with him at public and sporting events together; even with their age gap, they remain happy together. Dinah was born in 1954 in Terre Haute Indiana where she attended high school before enrolling at Indiana State University for undergraduate studies; she identifies as American with white ethnicity and stands 5 feet 2 inches tall.

He is married to Janet Condra

Before becoming a national star and basketball legend, Larry Bird married Janet Condra from his high school days – only lasting for one year before divorcing in 1976 and having one daughter together named Corrie Bird. Although Janet attempted reconciliation between herself and Larry they could never reconcile and Corrie was raised without either parent in her home life.

After his divorce, Larry Bird found love again when he married Dinah Mattingly in 1989. Since then, they have welcomed two children – Connor and Mariah – into the fold which has only strengthened their marriage further. There have been speculations that Larry Bird may be gay, however, there has been no evidence to back this claim as he has never been seen with any male companions or been seen anywhere with one.

Corrie found it hard to establish an intimate relationship with Bird due to his troubled marriage to Janet, making it harder for her to recognize who her biological father was. After making it known on the Oprah Winfrey Show, Corrie made clear her desire for closer ties between them; Bird eventually agreed and had a paternity test done in order to verify this fact.

He is married to Sue Bird

Sue Bird is an icon in American sports and is known for her four Olympic gold medals won while representing both Seattle Storm and USWNT women’s national basketball teams. Additionally, her activism on behalf of the LGBTQ community has garnered great media coverage; and her romance with Megan Rapinoe of the Seattle Reign team has garnered tremendous media coverage as well.

Bird has not publicly revealed her sexual orientation; however, she has been open with family and friends about it. As an advocate for gay rights and gender equality, Bird has long supported equal treatment of both genders within society. Megan provides an important example of how sports can use positive messages about sexual diversity to spread positive messages to young people.
