Red Bull were the last team to reveal the launch date of their 2020 F1 season car

Red Bull racing confirmed that their 2020 F1 season car would be launch on 12 February 2020.

The team, based in Milton Keynes, were the last to announce their launch date ahead of the 2020 Formula One season.

Red Bull finished third in the constructor’s championship last season but saw Max Verstappen achieve the same position in the driver’s standings too.

That was a career-best performance from the Belgian, and it will be interesting to see how things develop for the 22-year-old this season.

Red Bull didn’t give away too many details about their launch plans and just revealed the date with a hashtag of #ChargeOn

The RB16 should be one of the top cars for the upcoming campaign, however, they will be the second team to launch their car after Ferrari.

Renault are also having their season launch on 12 February and it will be a busy time as the days countdown to the start of the season.

Fans optimistic about 2020 campaign

Red Bull made some great strides forward under the Honda engine during the second half of the previous campaign,

They still were down on horsepower compared to Ferrari and Mercedes cars, but that wasn’t a problem on some circuits.

It will be interesting to see if they made any inroads in that deficit and the 2021 season could be the great leveller as new regulations are introduced.

Verstappen will be the key to Red Bull’s chances but Alex Albon also did a great job in the second half.

The Thai-British driver replaced Pierre Gasly and was unlucky to miss out on a podium spot in some races.

Many of their fans were excited ahead of the new campaign, and here are some reactions from Twitter:
