WWE Rumors: Is Charly Caruso set to be released by WWE after lack of TV time?

Charly Caruso may not be working with WWE anymore

Is it being claimed by sources that Charly Caruso is off air because of some backstage issues she has picked up in recent weeks.

Caruso is a WWE backstage talent who conducts interviews, and recently, her work ethic has been off the mark.

The reports (h/t Fightful Select) mention that she has been late to multiple interviews and that incidents with Randy Orton and Sheamus made Vince McMahon take note of the situation.

The 33-year-old also has a job at ESPN. There is also growing speculation that the American’s contract with the wrestling promotion expires soon.

However, there is no official word on that. She started her WWE work all the way back in 2016 at NXT.

And over the years, she has come to become one of the most recognizable on-air talents on the show, conducting some memorable interviews inside and outside the ring.

WWE might already have a replacement for Charly Caruso

It is also claimed that WWE hired Kevin Patrick (real name Kevin Egan) as a direct replacement on the show for Caruso.

He is said to be conducting backstage interviews for RAW, commentating for WWE Main Event, and hosting RAW Talk.

And in the past few days, he hosted an episode of WWE RAW Talk with R-Truth. This is, of course, a segment that Caruso usually covers.

Charly Caruso has not removed WWE from her Instagram bio yet.

These are all rumours at this point and nothing has been officially confirmed yet. It could be an injury or illness that is keeping her away. She is also yet to remove WWE from her Instagram bio.

But if reports are to be believed, fans should start getting accustomed to watching the show without one of their favourite WWE backstage talents.
